New Nexun One Vertical - Large area A+A+A+ LED-Hybrid Solar Simulator - The Beast

Avalon keeps progressing in the LED solar simulator technology, with the delivery to a leading national laboratory, of the world largest LED, long pulse A+A+A+ solar simulator of its class, the Nexun One

The Nexun One offers the largest area and best performances of its class on the market, it covers the ever-increasing size of the solar panels as well as increasing capacitive effects of new technologies where previous generation, Xenon-based systems, have shown their limits.

The LED technology of Avalon solves the shortcomings of Xenon in the accurate measurement of these new, large-size PV technologies.

32 independent wavelengths allow a continuous spectrum boosting a 17% spectral deviation (SPD IEC60904-9 Ed. 3), this system has the closest spectral match of its class on the market, outpacing the best Xenon systems.

The 500ms pulse with an LTI of 0.2% is also a world-first for an A+A+A+ simulator of this size that no competitor has yet matched. The pulse length is particularly critical for the measurement of the latest highly-capacitive HJT that has been shown to require up to 1-5ms per point.

The Nexun One Beast provides high-quality photons during a 500ms pulse at up to 1’200W/m2, and over an area of 1’700 x 2’700mm.

HJT, PERC, Bifacial, it covers it all.

Rated A+A+A+ the Nexun One offers the specifications of a Xenon system but allows a pulse length up to 500ms, allowing the measurement of the most capacitive technologies.

The new vertical design allows easy and convenient placement of the panel with no shading from the mounting structure while reducing the required floor space.

Coupled with a 15 - 75°C thermal chamber, the measurement of temperature coefficients and performance matrices can be performed fully automatically, freeing up resources and reducing the human error factor.
