High Hysteresis
The load is optimized for the measurement of high-hysteresis technologies like HJT, ensuring the fastest capacitive discharge of the panel during the measurement.
True 4-point Kelvin Connections
At the difference of most loads on the market, where V- and I- are short-circuited, Avalon’s load has a true, 4-point Kelvin connection with fully isolated I and V channels.
Low Noise, 4’000 Points, 16 bits
The load uses fully independent channels for each of the measured Voltage, Current, and Irradiance. Powered by high speed, 16bit converter with a low-noise optimized front end, a single IV is measured of 4’000 points.
30A, 250V, Multiple Ranges

External Calibration

WPVS Transimpedance amplifier
A WPVS Reference cell can be directly connected to the load, thanks to its trans-impedance amplifier, removing the needs of an external shunt resistor, further reducing uncertainties.
Double Irradiance Channel
Whether you use WPVS or bifacial, you can connect up to 2 reference cells.
4 Raytek IR Temperature Sensor
You can connect up to 4 Infrared temperature sensors, ensuring precise monitoring of the temperature.
8 PT100 Channels
The optional PT100 box allows you to connect up to an 8 PT100 temperature probe for a precise measurement of the temperature coefficients.
0.05% Accuracy
The load is guaranteed to an accuracy of 0.05% to the selected measurement range, ensuring the lowest measurement uncertainties.
