Vertical Design

The Nexun Labs is available as a vertical design, making manual loading and unloading of solar panels convenient for laboratories. The easy, single handed adjustable rack allows to adjust to different panel size in seconds while providing support for sensor like thermal probes. The system can be enclosed with a curtain or thermal chamber.


Automatic Uniformity Robot

The automatic uniformity robot allows fast and fully automated measurement of the whole area. The cell size can be adjusted upon needs and the mapping steps and area are fully configurable.

At less than 2 seconds per position, even a 200 points mapping takes less than 10min.

The software integrate a self correction algorithm so that the uniformity can self-adjust in sequence, allowing to reach a uniformity record down to 0.5%.

Want to bring uncertainties even further ? You can configure the robot to match your panel cell position, and measure the uniformity at the same cell position as your panel for maximum accuracy.

Integrated Diagnostic system

System Diagnostic

The Nexun Labs is able to self assess with its diagnostic tool and check each LED for deflective LED, driver unit or communication issue, ensuring the best measurement at all time.

LED Lighting

Beyond the integrated diagnostic, the LED can also light in steady-state at low intensity and by single wavelength which allows visual check.


HJT Terminator

With its 500ms pulse and the Dynamic IV, no HJT will ever need more than a single flash to be accurately measured.

The Bi-directional Dynamic IV technology and 500ms pulse mean 100 points with each 5ms stabilization, allowing an accurate measure of the most capacitive technologies without complex fitting algorithm or curve shaping.

Advanced Electronic Load

 

High Hysteresis

The load is optimized for the measurement of high-hysteresis technologies like HJT, ensuring the fastest capacitive discharge of the panel during the measurement.

True 4-point Kelvin Connections

At the difference of most loads on the market, where V- and I- are short-circuited, Avalon’s load has a true, 4-point Kelvin connection with fully isolated I and V channels.

Low Noise, 4’000 Points, 16 bits

The load uses fully independent channels for each of the measured Voltage, Current, and Irradiance. Powered by high speed, 16bit converter with a low-noise optimized front end, a single IV is measured of 4’000 points.

30A, 250V, Multiple Ranges

Measure panels up to 30A and 250V with measurement ranges of 30A, 10A, 4A, 1A, 0.2A and 250V, 180V, 120V, 60V, 15V, 1V

 

WPVS Channel

A WPVS Reference cell can be directly connected to the load, thanks to its trans-impedance amplifier, removing the needs of an external shunt resistor, further reducing uncertainties.

4 Raytek IR Temperature Sensor

You can connect up to 4 Infrared temperature sensors, ensuring precise monitoring of the temperature.

8 PT100 Channels

The optional PT100 box allows you to connect up to an 8 PT100 temperature probe for a precise measurement of the temperature coefficients.

0.05% Accuracy

* Uniformity is guaranteed at 1%, 0.5% is dependent on good lab condition, good operation of the equipment and knowledge of the user. A stable room temperature and a clean optics is required as well as no external stray light. The uniformity robot is required and the uniformity shall be measured frequently. Uniformity is rated with a 6 inch cell and 4cm gap to the edge of the illumination area.
